Prophecy: Hated without cause

Those who hate me without a cause
Are more than the hairs of my head;
They are mighty who would destroy me,
Being my enemies wrongfully;
Though I have stolen nothing,
I still must restore it.

Fulfillment

If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, “They hated Me without a cause.”

Prophecy: Will be reproached

Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up,
And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.

For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written,

Prophecy: Will be called LORD

The LORD said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

In His days Judah will be saved,
And Israel will dwell safely;

THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Fulfillment

For this reason the people also met Him, because they heard that He had done this sign. The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, “You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!”

Now there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast. Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”

Prophecy: Jews will reject Him, but He will become the Chief Cornerstone

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:
“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,
A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation;
