Will Christians be whisked away before the coming of the Day of the Lord? We’ve discussed the rapture in two articles already, so I’ve decided to name this one, The Rapture, Part III.

Do You Know Him?

When life lacks meaning, where do you turn? Some turn to drugs or drinking, others turn to pornography, still others delve into their careers, searching in vain for the ever-elusive purpose.

Liz understood what it meant to feel empty and bitter. Then she met Jesus Christ – the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

A child dies. Her parents prayed for her life. Friends, relatives and onlookers encouraged the parents to obtain medical care. They refused, believing prayer and faith would heal their child. It didn’t.

Should these parents be held culpable for the death of their child? Should they be prosecuted as murderers? Can parents have faith and still obtain medical care?

Late last night I read a flabbergasting life story of a woman racked with disease and pain. As I read her tweets and her messages to me, she sounded energetic, upbeat and happy. That, my friends, is an authentic demonstration of the power of Jesus Christ at work in a person’s life. I’m a believer, but if I had to go through half of the troubles Hetty’s been through, I think my attitude might really suck.

Will Christians be whisked away in the blink of an eye, escaping the troubles of the Great Tribulation? We hear a lot about the “rapture” but that word is never mentioned in Scripture. Still, the Bible does have some things to say about the event.
