On the morning He showed Himself to me,
the Heavens awakened by His radiant glory,
He came riding on clouds so silvery,
brighter than ten noon suns could ever be.
I fell to my knees though having professed
I would not humble myself during this worldly quest
to gain all power and wealth as I pressed
on beating my swollen, arrogant, pompous chest.
But I was instantly transformed into an innocent child
who left behind all Earthly matter and things gone wild
as He cradled me, gazed upon me with His all knowing smile,
never more to suffer Satan’s temptations and be beguiled.
