I saw your heart before your birth
Heard every thought that crossed your mind
Your desires, sadness, and mirth
Iniquities of every kind
I’ve seen the the paths on which you tread
That plunge your life into descent
Your righteous wings completely shed
Replaced with malicious intent
I’ve walked across the sea of tears
That turn into a raging storm
Reflected through your deepest fears
When desperation takes its form
So wracked with guilt, anger, and shame
You let addictions stay unfought
So many labels hide your name
Drowning in suicidal thought
Delight in trusting who I am
I love you, though you bathe in sin
You are my life, you are my lamb
I’d gladly die for you again
