Words full of power
Words full of might,
Words piercing darkness
Words casting light,
Words softly whispered
Words strong and bold,
Words of the prophets
Messiah foretold,
Words bringing fire
Words bringing rain,
Words healing wounds
Words easing pain,
Words bringing hope
Words loud and clear,
Words of God’s kingdom
Present and near,
Words of King Jesus
That abide evermore
The Word holds the key
To unlock heaven’s door.
