I so often think
If I do ABC,
Then God is obliged
to do XYZ,
By His loving rebuke
I can now clearly see,
Such thoughts are wrong
Bordering on blasphemy,
For Christ did it all
When He walked Calvary’s road,
And gave grace as a gift
That is freely bestowed.
