Ann’s story reminds us that even though we have faith in the Jesus of the Bible, we can still face significant suffering. In the pages of Scripture, we often find this to be true.
Suffering is scary. It’s hard. Sometimes we feel abandoned by God. But suffering serves a purpose.
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
I Peter 5:10
Wouldn’t you like to be restored, confirmed, strengthened and established? I know I would.
