Believers Should Be Baptized
We believe that the Bible makes it clear that all Christians (believers in Jesus Christ) should be baptized. Scripture doesn’t leave a whole lot of room for argument on the subject. But does the Bible make it clear that in order to receive salvation, one must be baptized? We don’t think so.

A lot of people, I mean a lot of people, ask us what we think of baptism as a means of salvation. We’ve addressed this subject on this site a variety of times (try a search for baptism), but we’re addressing it again. Does the Bible teach that baptism saves? Mark 16:16 seems to say that faith plus baptism equals salvation. And other places in Scripture, it seems that baptism is placed before salvation. So what’s the deal? Does baptism save?
