Pedophile “How-To” for Sale at Amazon

The Pedophile’s Guide to Love & Pleasure—currently for sale on Amazon. I’m calling for a permanent boycott of Amazon.

Amazon has decided to sell a “how-to” guide for pedophiles. Huh?

It’s time to boycott Amazon. I, for one, will not buy anything from them—ever again. Some are saying they won’t buy from them until they remove the item from their shelves. But I don’t think my money should be going to any person or company that thinks it’s OK to sell books that teach people how to perform lewd and illegal acts with children.

Here’s an excerpt from the book (entitled A Pedophile’s Guide to Love & Pleasure).

When precautions are needed, however, standard condoms go a long way.

Unfortunately, they are much too big to fit boys under thirteen. Luckily, there is a product that is identical to the adult condom, in almost every way, that will do the trick.

Latex, finger coits, intended to protect finger cuts from becoming infected, can provide the same level of protection as the adult latex sheath. They come in three sizes, small, medium and large, one of which is sure to fit any child under thirteen.

It goes on to tell wanna-be pedophiles to post clothed pictures of children on the wall that they either want to be with or have been with and to masturbate to those pictures. The book warns that nude pictures of children could result in the pedophile getting arrested.

Amazon says in its content guidelines that it reserves the right to make judgments about whether or not content is appropriate. So, Amazon, you’re telling me this content is appropriate? A guide on how to commit disgusting, illegal acts with innocent children is appropriate in your eyes? Really?

Not only that, Amazon says the following about offensive material. “What we deem offensive is probably about what you would expect.” Um, Amazon, this is not what I would expect and it’s not what other Christians would expect and frankly, I don’t believe it’s what most Americans would expect. I would expect that most Americans would find your support of this joke of a book extremely offensive.

Here’s Amazon’s official statement. “Amazon believes it is censorship not to sell certain books simply because we or others believe their message is objectionable. Amazon does not support or promote hatred or criminal acts, however, we do support the right of every individual to make their own purchasing decisions.”

Amazon is still selling a book entitled Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers. You can pre-order a book entitled I Am the Market: How to Smuggle Cocaine by the Ton, in Five Easy Lessons by Luca Rastello. In 2009, Amazon sold a game called Rapelay in which the player hunts down and rapes a mother and her daughters.

Amazon, you’ve lost my business—forever—and I’m calling on all others with any sense of decency to participate in a permanent boycott of Amazon.

  1. I can’t even find the words to describe this disgusting display by Amazon. Acting like they are somehow doing us a favor for free speech. We should boycott them permanently. This is something we need to pay attention to because there is a big push by many groups in America today to eliminate the age of consent even though they won’t admit it. Put your money where your mouth is and boycott Amazon forever! Pedophiles shouldn’t be given this kind of attention and encouragement from a company as large as Amazon. Keep a close eye on your children! Disgusting perverts are out there. Thanks to Amazon they now have even more ammunition. Down with Amazon!

  2. This is disgusting! I would have never thought anyone would write this kind of crap and the fact that anyone would sell this trash is even more disgusting. By amazon selling this crap they should be to blame for any children raped by someone who purchased this book from their website. I would assume that this book has been added the the FBI database for watched purchases…if not it will be.

    1. It probably already is. It’s been interesting browsing around the ‘net and seeing all the people that support this and call it “freedom of speech.” A how-to book on raping little kids? That’s free speech? I like what one person on twitter said tonight . . . “My freedom to swing my fist stops at the end of your nose.”

  3. Mr. E. , I came here from your link on cnn and agree with you . I’m never buying from amazon ever again . Yours was the only post I found that suggested not buying from amazon , others were not going to shop untill the pos was removed , what a pointless stance . …. Bert .

  4. The book has been taken down. It was only up on the site for a few days…and it was self-published. Amazon did NOT promote the book in any way–you actually did more to promote it than they did…think about that.

As to the other book you mentioned titled “Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers” Are you going to boycott Barnes and Noble, too?:

“Barnes & Noble (nyse: BKS – news – people ), which hasn’t been threatened with a lawsuit, says it used to sell Riegel’s book from its Web site. The book didn’t sell well and was taken off the site, said Barnes & Noble’s spokesperson Mary Ellen Keating, who said the company doesn’t have stock of the book but also “doesn’t censor inventory.”

Note that Barnes and Noble took it down because it didn’t sell well, NOT because they objected to the content.

The book is also available at Abebooks.com, alibris.com, biblio.com and Powells. Are you going to boycott them? What about the libraries that offer “Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers” for loan?

    Don’t just act blindly. Think.

    1. I do check to see what companies sell before I support them. It’s foolish to assume to know my buying habits. I do think–and I’m encouraging others to do the same. I stand by what I’ve said. Amazon shouldn’t be selling a book that teaches people to rape little kids. It’s over and above what I deem acceptable. I think children should be protected, not exploited. It’s unconscionable to support criminal-promoting smut that’s designed to harm innocent children. Amazon is a private company. They can choose to sell what they want to sell. It’s not censorship to have rules. Would you support a company that sells books on how to rape women? Would you support a company that sells a book on how to self-abort babies?

I find it interesting that Amazon now seems to agree with me that the content is objectionable. Funny, isn’t it?

  5. I was alerted to this story on Facebook by the Eagle Forum. I have since reposted it on my site and sent an email to a bunch of people with a link to your blog so they, too, can boycott Amazon. I am an author and have emailed my publisher to see if they can remove my book from Amazon’s site because I don’t want anything to do with a company that sells such abhorrent materials.

    1. The material is abhorrent beyond belief. Children should be protected, not exploited. Amazon should be ashamed of themselves. I like what another commenter said below. “Don’t just act blindly. Think.” I think Amazon should take her advice.
