Candice’s Christian Testimony

Candice prayed—and God heard her prayer.

Sometimes, in our relationship with God, we don’t know what’s best. We know what we want, and we struggle with whether or not it’s the right thing—whether it’s what God really wants for us. Candice loved a man, but he wasn’t a Christian. Check out her prayers and how God answered her.

Candice’s Christian Testimony

Life or Death

This poem reminds us that sin can be attractive but that ultimately it leads to death.

This poem might make you cry. The person who wrote it seems trapped in a sin cycle . . . and they feels there’s no escape. The good news is the truth at the end of the poem. We all have the choice. We can all choose life or death. It’s simple. Not rocket science. None of us is really trapped. It’s a matter of what move we plan on making next.

Life or Death

Is God Finished with Me?

Intentional sin. Backsliding. Can it lead to a moment in which it is impossible to turn back to God?

When we sin intentionally and continue to do so, is there a moment at which God turns our minds into “reprobate minds” and turns our hearts away from Him? Is there a moment in a life of backsliding at which it is impossible to turn back to God? If our names are left out of the Book of Life, is there really any point in trying to reverse a life of sin?

Can My Hardened Heart Be Fixed?

Softening a heart that’s been hardened toward God can seem an insurmountable task—even impossible.

Once a person has hardened their heart toward God . . . it’s difficult to reverse the process. Sin has a tendency to creep in and lock on. Then, feeble, seemingly insignificant attempts at softening our hearts fail. And fail. And fail again. And after a while, trying seems useless. We don’t feel sincere. We don’t feel capable.

It’s so easy to claim the title “Christian.” But do our lives really reflect that title?

Here’s a really cool poem from Mike.

It’s so easy to claim the title “Christian.” But do our lives really reflect that title? Do we know what it’s truly like to have a relationship with the God of the Bible? If not, it’s time to start living the life God has in mind for us.
