God Forgives. And That’s a Good Thing.

We can’t even begin to tell you how many people have contacted us thinking they’ve committed the unpardonable sin. So many people feel that their hearts are hardened, that they’ve lost the Holy Spirit, that there’s no hope for them any longer . . .

We have one thing to say about this. If you want to return to God, He will accept you. Your heart isn’t too hard. You haven’t gone too far.

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
John 6:37 (ESV)

Can My Hardened Heart Be Fixed?

Softening a heart that’s been hardened toward God can seem an insurmountable taskā€”even impossible.

Once a person has hardened their heart toward God . . . it’s difficult to reverse the process. Sin has a tendency to creep in and lock on. Then, feeble, seemingly insignificant attempts at softening our hearts fail. And fail. And fail again. And after a while, trying seems useless. We don’t feel sincere. We don’t feel capable.
