There is little doubt that Jesus Christ can help with financial problems, mental issues, debts, and illnesses. But even if He helped with all of these matters, as serious as they are, and left us in our sins, we would be helped not at all.

That’s one of the things I always appreciated about Tim. He just spoke the truth, didn’t mince words, and didn’t water anything down.
Jason was having all sorts of trouble in his life (as we all do at times). He struggled with finances. His marriage was shaky. His wife was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis. His son was diagnosed with Autism. He was on the verge of suicide. Without God, a situation like this would be hard to fix. But with God, such a situation is a piece of cake. Christmas. It’s almost here. We can focus on spending all our hard earned money in order to go deeply into debt so we can enjoy fighting an uphill battle to re-balance our finances for 2009, or we can focus on the real meaning of the season – Jesus Christ.
I choose the latter.
