Charan’s Christian Testimony

Don’t ever give up praying for your lost loved ones. God may yet work a miracle in their lives.

It’s easy to give up praying for someone when you’ve prayed for oh-so-long and the only answer is silence. It’s easy to ask the question, “God, why are you ignoring me? Why can’t you reveal yourself?”

Charan’s testimony reminds us never to stop praying for our loved ones that don’t know the Jesus of the Bible. Continue praying. God will hear and He will honor your commitment and perseverance.

Updated "About Us" Page

OK, I’ve updated the ABOUT US page and now there’s new information about Tim, me and the evolution of truthsaves.

I looked at the About Us page the other day and I noticed it said, “I don’t have any kids . . .” Since I have two kids I thought, hm, this page needs to be updated.

We’ve also received some questions asking about Tim. Questions like, “Who are you and why should we trust what you say?” So, we decided that our About Us page needed to include some information about Tim.

Not only that, but we thought readers might appreciate a little information about how the site has evolved over the years.

So, here it is. Our new, revamped About Us page.

Karen’s Testimony

Karen’s personal testimony – the story of the prodigal daughter.

I love stories like these. I guess it’s because I’ve heard so many of them. I guess it’s because it’s like mine.

So many parents have to deal with the grief of their child (or children) running away from God’s truth. They raise them to believe, but then watch helplessly as their children leave the fold and venture into sin.

God has a tendency to bring His children back to Himself. He does not want even one to be lost. If you’re the parent of such a child, be encouraged by Karen’s story.

Baptism & Salvation

Some say baptism is absolutely necessary for salvation? Is it? Does Scripture support that position?

This seems to be the never-ending topic.

So many people see baptism as a necessary requirement for salvation. Others go so far as to say it’s the act that brings salvation. We’re on the other side of the spectrum.

We see Scripture, time and again, telling us that we need to believe to be saved. Faith is the requirement. True faith will bring about a heart change. Being saved isn’t about some external act; it’s about running to God, trusting in Him, believing in His holy Word, living in constant communion with Him and being guided daily by His Holy Spirit.

It’s about having a relationship with the Jesus of the Bible.

Heidy’s Christian Testimony

From an ardent critic to an outspoken supporter of the Jesus of the Bible. Heidy’s testimony.

Heidy didn’t experience any sudden transformations from sinner to saint. But she did go from criticizing Christianity to being a devout follower of the Jesus of the Bible. I always love it when God transforms a doubting heart.

Sharad’s Christian Testimony

Sharad searched for a long time but, as God’s Word says, if you seek, you will find.

Sharad searched for a long time but, as God’s Word says, if you seek, you will find. If you knock, the door will be opened to you. Ask, and you will receive. God is good. He’s waiting for you.

Would a God of Love Really Allow Suffering and send People to Hell?

Could a loving God really allow as much suffering as there is in this world? And would He really send people to hell?

Someone recently wrote in with a classic question that has stumped many for ages.

Why would a God of love allow suffering? Think of all the suffering in this world! People are starving. People are dying of diseases and natural disasters. Innocent people suffer in unbelievable ways.

And what about hell? What sort of a “loving God” would send His “precious subjects” to a horrid place like hell? Would God really do such a thing?

Find out whether we think a loving God and suffering are incompatible.

A Loving God Who Allows Suffering and Sends People to Hell?

Will God Forgive Intentional Sin?

In Numbers we read that people who sinned intentionally were cut off. Will God forgive those who sin willfully?

In Numbers we read that there was no sacrifice for intentional sin. It seems as if a person who sinned intentionally had no hope. Does God forgive intentional sin? Does the Bible say anything else about this?
