Victory Over Internet Porn

So many struggle with Internet porn. It may seem as if you’ve beat it one moment, then the next you’re watching it again. If you’re stuck in a cycle of sin with Internet porn and feeling hopeless–don’t lose hope! It is possible to win the battle against Internet porn. It can be done. If you want to win the battle, I can tell you how to do it. But I will also tell you that most people are too lazy to fight to win the battle against porn. We fail to bring our thoughts into captivity and because we do not gird up the loins of our minds (1 Peter 1:13), we continue to lose.

Christians Are Fake

A site reader says that he’s met a lot of nasty, bigoted people who call themselves “Christians” who can quote Scripture. Well, we agree that there are a lot of people out there like that. Conversely, there are many nasty, bigoted people out there who hate Christ with a passion. Some of the people who claim the title of “Christian” don’t really follow Christ. Others do. We cannot judge Christianity based on the actions of sinful people.

Elaine’s Christian Testimony

Elaine’s testimony is yet another example of how Christianity can (and should) appeal to one’s intellect. She considered herself one of the “enlightened” ones for years. Her New Age belief system taught her that Christians were liars, intolerant and controlling. She was on her way to perfection; she wanted to achieve that “Christ-consciousness.” Apparently she figured out that people will never be perfect and that there is only one Savior — Jesus Christ.

Into the Harvest — A Christian Poem

It’s easy to get so involved with daily life that we forget that the Spirit of God is alive and well and moving. It’s easy to get complacent and not desire to see the hand of God moving. In fact, at times we forget (or just don’t believe) that God is even capable of working mighty miracles. After all, this is 2013 and things like that just don’t happen.
