What Law is Paul Referencing in Romans 2?

All those under the law will be declared righteous. It says so in Romans 2. What law is Paul talking about?

In Romans 2:13, Paul says that those who obey the law will be declared righteous. Well, if we’re no longer under the law, then what in the world is Paul talking about here? What law?

My Life Before Jesus

Brooke’s testimony tells of God’s mercy. He listens to those who call on His name.

Brooke’s testimony is powerful.

It’s an illustration of God’s promise to never leave or forsake us.

Brooke ran as far from Him as she could. But when she needed Him, she cried out to Him and He answered her. He came to her in her time of need.

Not only that, but Brooke had a network of Christians praying for her. God listened to those prayers and he responded to them in a powerful way. The prayer of the saints is effective (James 5:16).

I rejoice with Paul, knowing that the gospel of God is being preached through Brooke and her story. Praise God! I’m thankful to serve One who will never leave or forsake us . . . One who will always welcome us home.

Some New Poems

Jesus cares for us. He gives us life and hope and he directs our paths. Two Christian poems.

God cares for us. It’s true and His Word illustrates the point nicely.

Jesus give us life. He gives us hope. He directs our paths.

Karen Ong’s recent poetry submissions paint a clear picture of how much Jesus, our Great God & Savior, loves and cares for us.

Blessed Storms

A Christian poem. Life’s full of storms. We all know it; we face trouble daily. But the testing of our faith develops perseverance.

Miracle of miracles. I’m actually doing something with this website. I am finally posting something. It’s a new poem by Belinda. And it’s pretty cool (thanks for sending it in). It describes life’s storms. I’m going through storms right now at work. All of us experience troubles. We need to stay straight on the path. We need to keep our eyes on the prize. The testing of our faith develops perseverance. Thank God He knows what’s best for us.

Tracey’s Christian Testimony

Tracey’s Christian testimony explains how a person lost in sin was rescued by Jesus of the Bible.

I haven’t posted in so long I almost forgot how to find my blog!

I have so many things to post . . . but just haven’t found the time to post them.

Tracey submitted this testimony a long time ago, and it’s another classic story of the way God find us in the middle of our messes. No matter how hard we try to mess our lives up, He’s still there . . . watching, waiting and hoping for us to return to Him.

God’s Silence

Some say that God has been silent for periods of time in history. Find out what we think.

Some will tell you that God has been completely silent for periods of time. Some say that God was utterly silent during the 400 years between the time of Malachi, the last Old Testament prophet, and the time of Jesus. Others say that God may have been silent during the 400 years that Israel was in Egypt.

We don’t believe God has ever been silent. Find out why.

Homeland Security

As Christians, our homeland is heaven. And God’s our homeland security director. We have nothing to fear. A poem.

I really like this poem.

We hear so much about our wonderful homeland security (and of course it’s excellent) but for Christians, our homeland is elsewhere. And God’s our homeland security director. He will never make mistakes or let any harm come to us. We have eternity to chill out and relax.

So why in the world doesn’t everyone want to live in our eternal homeland? That’s one I’ll never be able to figure out.
