Glory

A moving Christian poem about the life of Jesus Christ.

When I check my email, and see a poem submission from Tim, I get excited.

Tim has a way of putting words on paper that create a vivid mental picture.

Glory paints a picture of the life of Jesus. He came from heaven, from a position of ultimate power, to live a life of suffering and servitude as a man. He never complained; He never sinned; He lived and died for a civilization that treated Him as an outsider.

Christian Poems

Publish your original Christian poetry on our site. Send in your Christian poems and we’ll post them.

Poems never really were my thing. They bored me. But the older I get, the more I find myself liking poems, especially poems that speak to one’s walk with the Jesus of the Bible.

So, I created a page just for Christian poetry. If you have a poem that’s about Jesus, or related to your walk with Jesus, you can send it to me and I’ll post it! Right now we have about 40 poems but I want hundreds, if not thousands of poems that glorify Jesus Christ!

So, send ’em in. We love to read original poetry, and we love to publish it.
All for His glory!

Are We Universalists?

We are not universalists.

Someone recently asked us (based on their reading of our statement of faith) if we are universalists.

A universalist, basically, is someone who believes that all men will be saved, because Christ died for all. While we believe that Jesus died for everyone, unfortunately, not everyone will accept His gift of eternal life.

If you want to know what we believe, check out the following article.

Messianic Prophecies and Fulfillments

A chart of messianic prophecies and their fulfillments found in the New Testament.

Prophets prophesied. Jesus fulfilled these prophecies centuries later. The historical events of Jesus’ life, described by first-hand eye witnesses, supply evidence of the authenticity of Scripture and proof that Jesus was who He said He was.

Verses Describing the Deity of Jesus

The Bible supports the fact that Jesus is God.

Jesus equals God. God equals Jesus.

Do you believe this? Do you believe the Bible?

If you answered “no” to the first question and “yes” to the second, you might want to review your Bible.

Verses that Prove the Deity of Jesus

Hetty’s Christian Testimony

Read Hetty’s amazing Christian testimony of the power of Jesus Christ. She has struggled through continual sickness and pain, but still keeps Jesus front and center in her life.

Late last night I read a flabbergasting life story of a woman racked with disease and pain. As I read her tweets and her messages to me, she sounded energetic, upbeat and happy. That, my friends, is an authentic demonstration of the power of Jesus Christ at work in a person’s life. I’m a believer, but if I had to go through half of the troubles Hetty’s been through, I think my attitude might really suck.

Did Paul Know of the Virgin Birth?

Paul probably knew of the virgin birth.

What Paul knew about Mary, Joseph and the birth of Jesus is somewhat unclear from Scripture. However, there are a couple passages which seem to speak (however indirectly) of this topic.

Did Paul Know of the Virgin Birth?

John 1:1 – God? Or just one of many gods?

Was Jesus just a good man or was He actually God? John 1:1 says He is God.

Jesus lived, breathed, walked, and talked on this earth. According to Scripture, Jesus was a man.

Scripture also tells us that Jesus is God.

1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1:2 He was in the beginning with God.
1:3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:1-5 (ESV)

Can we be sure that the “Word” referenced here is Jesus? Of course! Look at verses 14-15.

1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
1:15 (John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.'”)
John 1:14-15 (ESV)
